Algiers — Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen expressed readiness of his country to build win-win partnerships in various fields with Algeria.
In a statement to the press upon his arrival at Houari-Boumediene International Airport, Jensen said that his visit to Algeria aims at strengthening relations between the two countries.
He added that Denmark is ready to cooperate with Algeria and build partnerships, especially in the fields of energy and industry.
Jensen also hailed Algeria's key role in the fight against terrorism and the restoration of peace and security in the region.
During his visit, he will discussed with Algerian officials the situation in Mali and Libya, as well as the development in the region.
The Danish Foreign minister started a two-day visit to Algeria, at the invitation of State Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra.
